My friend just got fired from their job at the keyboard factory the other day.
They told him he was not putting in enough SHIFTS.
Did you know that the shift key originated from the typewriter. Originally you had to press and hold your desired letter button to shift up the case stamp to be able to type capital letters. The first shift key was used in 1878 in the Remington No. 2 Typewriter. It is worth noting that No. 1 model only had capital keys.
Since then keyboards have made big strides and have even added more functionality to make typing capital letters much easier (CAPS lock). I guess its safe to say that my friends’ boss is out of CTRL (see what I did there?).
