The following post is about how I developed an application named Content Aggregator, utilizing Python and various API’s, that aims to simplify the curation and vetting of online publications and content.
The Problem – Too Much to Choose From
With the abundance of online sources and social media, deciding on what you should read when looking into a particular subject can be a challenging process. According to Internet Live Stats, there are about 1.7 billion registered websites. Although not all of these websites are live, a fraction of this number is still a large number of sources that people have to choose between and validate credibility before using.
Content Aggregator – My Solution
Content Aggregator is a quick way to find 3 articles on a subject of your choice. It saves you time on having to decide what is accurate, and credible enough to read on your given subject. This type of application could be used to provide content for blogs and news websites. In addition, it could be used to quickly gather references for a paper or article. This type of application would be useful for utility applications, marketing firms, or everyday bloggers looking to supplement their websites.
